A Woodford Green protester who spent more than ten years outside Parliament determined to be a mouthpiece to stop wars has died.
Brian Haw, 62, died of lung cancer in his sleep on Saturday in Germany, where he was being treated for the illness.
Mr Haw started his protest in 2001, but in September 2010 he was diagnosed with lung cancer and his Parliament post was kept guarded before he left for treatment.
