A children’s hospice has received more than a quarter of a million pounds to increase their music therapy and toy loan service.
Haven House Children’s Hospice in High Road, Woodford Green received the grant from the Big Lottery Fund totalling 281,932.
The money was given after a successful bid to improve the non-clinical services for seriously ill children.
Mike Palfreman, chief executive of the hospice, said: “This generous grant from the Big Lottery Fund will enable us to dramatically improve the lives of life-limited children across our catchment area.”
