A firm of chartered accountants in Woodford Green has been named Independent Firm of the Year, East England, at the British Accountancy Awards for the second year in a row.

Nordens “give a high quality of service without cutting corners and are refreshingly innovative” according to judges.

Trainee accountant Selen Mertdjan was a finalist and named as one of the Top Ten Rising Stars in the country.

Mitch Hahn, partner at Nordens, Roding Lane South, said: “When you are recognised by your peers and industry experts for professional development and excellence for two years running, it’s a real endorsement of our business-focused approach. We’re hoping for a hattrick!”

The company places emphasis on looking at a client’s business holistically. It has a dreaming room to encourage clients to think about what they really want from their business and staff to think differently about how they can support their clients.
