Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a woman was hit by a car in Ilford.

Officers were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) at 6.13am on Saturday, November 3 to Sunnyside Road.

A Met Police spokesman said: A woman in her 30s who was struck by the vehicle that made off was taken to hospital. 
“Her injuries are not life-threatening.

“No arrests have been made and inquiries continue.”
