A woman’s car window was smashed after the occupants of another vehicle threw an unknown item at it.
Redbridge police are appealing for information after the incident, which happened at 7.45pm on March 11 in Goodmayes.
The woman was preparing to pull out at the traffic lights near the Tesco supermarket, High Road, when a black hatchback appeared.
Items were thrown at her car from the vehicle and she also heard swearing from its occupants, which she believed was directed at her.
The woman drove down Barley Lane and into Priestly Gardens, but an object was thrown at her car which smashed its rear window.
The hatchback was then seen to drive off.
A police spokesman said the driver and passenger of the vehicle were both white men. The item which struck the window was not found at the scene.
If anyone has any information, they should call the Newbury safer neighbourhoods team on 0208 345 3422.
