A woman is raising money for a six month mission to Thailand where she will be working at an orphanage.
Rosie Taylor is hoping to raise more than £4,000 for the trip with Baptist Missionary Society.
She will also be visiting schools in the UK to share her experiences.
She is holding a fundraising quiz night on July 6 and a Thai-themed evening with food and music on July 26 at Ashurst Drive Baptist Church, Ashurst Drive, Gants Hill.
