The London Ambulance Service (LAS) was called to reports of a woman under a train at 6.15pm today.
An ambulance crew, the London air ambulance medical team in a car, and a duty officer were all sent to the scene in Station Road.
The woman has been taken to the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel with what an LAS spokesman described as a minor head injury.
An air ambulance doctor escorted her to the hospital, where she arrived after 7.30pm.
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said officers were called to reports of a person stuck by a train.
It is currently being treated as non-suspicious.
