An ambulance and a Mercedes collided at a busy junction in Goodmayes yesterday.

The collision happened at just after 8.30am in Eastern Avenue, at its junction with Barley Lane.

A woman inside the red convertible Mercedes, reported to be 36, had to be cut out of the vehicle by fire crews.
