An 89-year-old woman was injured in a car crash in Hainault this morning.
The accident happened in New North Road at around 10.45am.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said a single responder and one ambulance were sent to the scene and treated the womman for arm and chest injuries.
She was taken to the Royal London Hospital as a priority. Buses and traffic were diverted while emergency services dealt with the incident.
