DO YOU enjoy a good book? If so then this competition is for you.
The TV Book Club is back on our screens and Anchor hosts Dave Spikey, Jo Brand and Leila Rouass have returned alongside Ade Edmondson and Meera Syall to help you pick the best books to read this winter.
During the 10-part series Dave, Jo, Leila, Ade and Meera will be joined by celebrity guests to review 10 titles, chosen by a team of TV Book Club experts, with viewers invited to read along.
To celebrate the new show, Specsavers, which has funded the series, is giving away a set of books to Recorder readers, plus �150 of designer eyecare, including an eye examination, so readers can enjoy their books wearing the latest fashion frames.
The lucky winner can will be reading all 10 books in the series: Room, by Emma Donoghue; The Long Song, by Andrea Levy; Junior Officers’ Reading Club, by Patrick Hennessey; Tiger Hills, by Sarita Mandanna; The News Where You Are, by Catherin O’Flynn; Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, by Rebecca Skloot; Bleed for Me, by Michael Robotham; Even the Dogs, by Jon McGregor; The Last Duchess, by Daisy Goodwin, and Spies of the Balkans, by Alan Furst.
