A community cafe which will employ and train people with learning difficulties and autism will hold its grand opening on Friday in Wanstead.

The Cherry-tree Community Cafe in Woodbine Place is putting on a fun day from 10am to 3pm, with music, children’s entertainers and cherry-themed goodies.

The grand opening will take place at 11am with John Cryer, the MP for Leyton and Wanstead, visiting.

The cafe is run by HAIL, a Haringey-based charity which supports people with learning disabilities to find work and housing.
