Prince Charles has praised the “remarkable contribution” of a barrister to close the diversity gap.

Miranda Brawn, of Hermon Hill, Wanstead, met the HRH Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall during their visit to the Black Cultural Archives on Thursday.

The dedicated campaigner was vice chair of the BCA from 2014 until 2016 and now sits as their Patron.

At the event, Ms Brawn spoke with the Prince about her extensive diversity work.

This includes her charity, The Miranda Brawn Diversity Leadership Foundation, which helps talented teenagers get a headstart in their careers, by offering them up to £1,000 funding, mentoring sessions and work experience.
