After guiding his cadets and leading their adventures, a volunteer instructor has been awarded for his hard work and dedication.
Warrant Officer Lee Morris, 38, an instructor for the Wanstead and Woodford Air Training Corps (ATC), has been awarded the Greater London Reserve Forces and Cadets Association certificate for meritorious service to London cadets.
He said: “Being a member of the ATC has enabled me to develop self-motivation, self-confidence and the discipline to develop my organisational skills and initiative.”
Warrant Officer Morris has been a member of the ATC since 1989, taking care of cadets as well as being involved in the squadron’s adventure training.
Lord Lieutenant of Greater London, Sir David Brewer, presented him with the award for his service and commitment to the cadets.
