VIDEO - Redbridge College students perform their Harlem Shake for Red Nose Day

PUBLISHED: 17:20 18 March 2013 | UPDATED: 17:44 18 March 2013

Redbridge College students joined in their own version of the Harlem Shake on Red Nose Day while raising hundreds for Comic Relief.

The college in Barley Lane, Little Heath, was full of people in fancy dress including Batman, Mario and Mickey Mouse on Friday.

And at lunchtime, the canteen turned into a dancefloor as students joined in the Harlem Shake, videos of which went viral on the Internet last month.

The college also raised money through a cake sale by its hospitality students and face painting by trainee beauticians, leading to a total of £320 for the cause.
