Ilford’s Business Improvement District (BID), a partnership of businesses around Ilford town centre, and the Exchange Ilford shopping centre is supporting Vaisakhi celebrations from today.
As part of the Sikh festival, there will be a market in High Road, Ilford, offering Indian cuisine, from today to Sunday.
Activities will take place in the Exchange Ilford shopping centre and in High Road including Bollywood and bhangra dancing and Punjabi singing tomorrow.
The BID has also teamed up with events company Amber Markets to put on markets in High Road throughout the year.
The next will be held on April 23 to April 27, with others in May and July. For more details, visit www.ilfordtown.co.uk.
