A motorbike rider has been taken to hospital as a priority after colliding with a truck on the A406 near Ilford this morning.
The London Ambulance Service was called to the scene of the crash at just after 8.45am where they treated a man, reported to be 48 years old, for a back injury.
The accident happened on the stretch of the A406 just past the Redbridge Flyover heading towards the M11.
Traffic was held in all three lanes whiles paramedics treated the rider, with traffic backing up to Ilford.
The injured man has been taken to Whipps Cross Hospital, Leytonstone.
No one else was injured in the crash.
