A man was taken as a priority to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, east London, following a collision on the A12 Eastern Avenue in Redbridge this morning.
Ambulance crews were called to the scene of a collision between a motorcyclist and a car at around 6.10am.
The road was closed this morning as a result to allow for accident investigation work.
There was queuing traffic westbound between the Redbridge roundabout and the George Green tunnel which is now reported to have cleared.
