A knife fight in George Lane, South Woodford, last night left two teenagers in hospital with serious stab wounds.

Police were called to the scene at 11.52pm, after reports of a fight.

Officers found two men had been stabbed, one in George Lane, and the other nearby, in the Broadmead Estate area.

The two males, aged 16 and 18, were taken to hospital, and both are in a serious but stable condition.

Officers from Redbridge CID are investigating.

So far there have been no arrests.
