A two-floor amusement arcade could be opened in Goodmayes if plans are approved by Redbridge Council.

Applicant Arjan Singh Rai wants to convert an empty shop in High Road.

There would be games on the ground floor and in the basement along with customer toilets and parking for two members of staff.

The arcade would be open for 13 hours a day, seven days a week, from 10am to 11pm.

Planning officers have not yet made a decision on the application, which is undergoing consultation.

The property was previously used as a shop called The Sign Lab.
