A warning has been issued about the dangers to hundreds of Redbridge homes from tumble-dryers catching fire.
In some cases excess fluff in Indesit, Hotpoint or Creda brands can come into contact with the heating element and create a fire risk.
Indesit and Hotpoint, who also own Creda are carrying out an outreach service and will provide an engineer, free of charge to modify appliances manufactured between April 2005 and September 2015.
Visit safety.hotpoint.eu or safety.indesit.eu for further information.
