All Central Line services are suspended east of Liverpool Street as Transport for London looks to correct a signal failure at Mile End.

There are severe delays on the whole line because of the signal failure.

Staff at Wanstead Station have been moved to Leytonstone to cope with increased passenger numbers.

Wanstead Station is now closed because a lack of staff.

A TFL spokesman said: “We are working as swiftly as possible to get the services up and running.

“We apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused.”

Tickets will be accepted on London Buses and Abellio Greater Anglia services via any reasonable route.
