Trains will be delayed from this afternoon (Monday) due to expected high temperatures.
Greater Anglia and Network Rail will impose speed restrictions on some routes as they said the expected heat can cause the metal tracks and overhead line equipment to expand.
Trains between London and Shenfield, which run through Ilford, will travel at lower speeds for parts of their journey and may be delayed by up to five minutes between 1pm and 7pm.
