A train operator has reported its “best ever” punctuality with a record number of trains arriving on time at stations across Redbridge.
Greater Anglia found that 95.7 per cent of all trains were “punctual” over a four week period, ending on May 25.
The metro service, which calls at Ilford, Seven Kings, Goodmayes and Chadwell Heath, had a punctuality of 98.1 per cent.
Ruud Haket, managing director, said: “I am very pleased that train punctuality continues to improve.
“This reflects our continued and relentless efforts, working in partnership with Network Rail, to provide better train service performance.”
