A track-side fire broke out between Ilford and Seven Kings stations during rush hour this evening.
The incident, which took place at around 5.15pm, prompted Abellio Greater Anglia to warn of cancellations and delays to services running through Ilford.
Shortly before 6pm, the operator tweeted: “#Ilford - Due to an earlier line-side fire services are returning to normal but some may still be cancelled or delayed up to 20 mins.”
