A 21-year-old motorist was taken to hospital this morning “as a priority” after a road accident in Goodmayes.
The London Ambulance Service was called to High Road at just after 3.50am and the man was treated for leg and back pain.
A spokesman confirmed he was taken to The Royal London Hospital while two other patients were taken to Queens Hospital, Romford.
