Archant

The leafy suburb of Redbridge is known for its vibrant green spaces, but does it have the best parks in the UK?

Redbridge Council is encouraging residents to vote for their favourite park in the People’s Choice Awards.

Last year nine of the borough’s parks were awarded Green Flag Status including Valentines Park and Clayhall Park, but will any make the top ten national list for 2018?

“Here is a chance to show how much your favourite park means to you,” a council spokesman said.

“Voting is open and it is really simple (to do).

“Once you’ve voted, don’t forget to encourage others to get involved too.”

Residents can vote for more than one park, but you can’t vote for the same park twice using the same device.

The council advises readers to use different devices if you want to vote for the same park more than once.

Voting closes on September 30.
