The Olympics, the British judicial system and the weather are just some of the things being represented in flowers at a floral festival today.
St Peter’s Church in Aldborough Road North, Newbury Park, will have the Best of British as this year’s theme of its annual festival.
There are 15 floral displays illustrating aspects of British life, with craft stalls, choral recitals and dance performances adding to the atmosphere.
Rev Kate Lovesey said: “I think it’s great, I love flowers and it’s a good time to meet your neighbours and come and enjoy the church.”
The festival runs from 10am-6pm.
