THE search for the brightest Redbridge stars is almost over - with just four days until the grand final of the Talent Show 2009.

Online voting will close at midnight tomorrow, with votes cast through the Recorder website counting for 30 per cent of the final marks.

Samuel Olatunbosun is currently leading the way with 58 per cent of the votes.

He is followed by Grant Soar with 11 per cent of votes and Alyesha Moodley with 10 per cent.

The eight finalists are busy perfecting their acts for the final which will take place at Sir James Hawkey Hall, Broomhill Road, Woodford Green, at 7pm on Saturday.

Special guest Pavan Ahuwalia-Hundal of Goodmayes, who is a henna tattooist, will be giving demonstrations and talking about how she got the Guinness World Record for creating the most henna tattoos in an hour at her old primary school last December.

It is hoped that the event will raise £5,000 for Haven House children's hospice, Mallinson Park, High Road, Woodford Green.

There are still some tickets available from Ravi Bhanot on 07956556613.
