ACCORDING to General Election opinion polls, there could well be a hung parliament.
How ironic that for 50 years the Rt Hon members have voted against capital punishment. Now it seems they themselves could be hanged!
I am a pacifist. But I would be the first in the queue to volunteer to pull the lever to send the "Honourable" members to that House in the sky!
I would start with those MPs who have had to repay their outrageous expenses claims (thanks to the Freedom of Information Act!) It is, after all, our money.
I am convinced that there would be thousands of volunteers for the role of executioner to rid us of these money-grabbing, pompous, self-righteous hypocrites. I can't wait to cast my vote. - GERRY WARNER, Paprills, Basildon.
