Staff at Ilford chicken shop cleared after Border Force immigration raid

An Ilford chicken shop was raided by UK Border Force officers carrying out immigration checks yesterday.

Officers entered Dixy Chicken, in Ilford Hill, at around 2pm to question staff.

A Home Office spokesman said: “All those we questioned were cleared and no arrests were made.”

The shop is open as usual.
