South Woodford man charged with attempting to supply heroin after police raid

A South Woodford man has been charged with attempting to supply heroin after a police drugs raid.

Edwin Akowua Appiah, 36,of Kays Terrace, Walpole Road, was due to appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court today charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug in July and October.

Three other men were also arrested following a police raid on a home in Clapham Manor Street, Clapham.

Victor Williams, 34, of Kensington Close, Barnet, Matthew Morris, 36, of no fixed address, and Russell Wellings, 33, of no fixed address, were charged with conspiracy to supply heroin.
