Snaresbrook councillor faces trial accused of indecent exposure to nine-year-old girl

A councillor of 35 years is due to appear in court accused of exposing himself to a nine-year-old girl.

Ex-Conservative councillor Peter Goody will face Waltham Forest Magistrates Court this afternoon, charged with indecent exposure.

He was suspended from the party last November, following the allegation made in July last year.

Cllr Goody has been a councillor in Redbridge since 1975, and served as deputy leader of the Conservative group from 1996 to 2000 and deputy leader of the council from 1999 to 2000.
