Runners were out to mark the shortest day of the year with a special marathon event.

Sikhs in the City hosted its annual dawn to dusk race on Sunday, with more than 100 competitors turning out to take part.

Athletes could tackle either a 10km, 22km, full marathon or ultra-marathon – the same distance as all three other races.
