There are severe delays on TfL Rail line after a passenger was hit by a train at Stratford Station this afternoon.
British Transport Police were called to the station at 12:40pm and the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesman said: “Colleagues from the London Ambulance Service also attended the scene where sadly a person was pronounced dead. Officers are now working to identify the person and inform their family.
“This incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
