A Seven Kings road will be blocked for weeks while a water main is replaced.
There will be no access to St Johns Road from Aldborough Road South or exit from the road from Wednesday while works are carried out.
Traffic will be diverted via Wards Road and Buxton Road, or Devonshire Road and Buxton Road.
The work is expected to be finished by November 20 and access will be allowed when possible.
