A man and his family have entered the record books after completing the London Marathon – as part of a “human centipede”.
Gaurav Kalia, of Gyllyngdune Gardens, Seven Kings, completed the gruelling distance while linked together with 46 runners, including his sisters and nephews.
The team, which finished in just under 7hrs 30mins, set a new Guinness World Record, beating the previous best of 34 people.
Gaurav, 25, said: “There were lots of people waiting for us at the finishing line and it was an amazing feeling when we crossed it.”
The team raised more than �80,000 for disability charity Scope.
