A school teacher charged with four counts of sexual offences with a teenage girl is due to appear in court this morning.
John Wunderle, a former teacher at Bancroft’s School in High Road, Woodford Green, was arrested on Friday last week and charged with two counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child and two counts of causing or inciting sexual activity with a child.
The 34-year-old, of Greenwich Way, Waltham Abbey, had been arrested in June on suspicion of sexual activity with a child and bailed.
But he was remanded in custody after appearing at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court last Saturday after breaching his bail conditions.
Wunderle is due to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court today.
