Although Santa is preparing for the busiest night of his year, he still managed to pop into a Christmas bazaar on Saturday.

He was giving out presents to children at St John’s Church, St Johns Road, Seven Kings in a wonderful winter wonderland complete with grotto.

Rev Jonathan Evens said: “Families come year in, year out because this Santa’s grotto is so special. “Despite inclement weather, we enjoyed an excellent Christmas bazaar thanks to the hard work of many from our congregation and the support of the wider community.”

As well as a variety of stalls at the bazaar selling ideal items for Christmas presents, there was also games, food and a raffle.

Mr Evens said: “It was a great community event and an increased amount raised for St John’s.”
