Archant

Commuters faced big delays this morning after a passenger alarm was pulled at Ilford station.

Rail passengers can still expect delays between Ilford and Brentwood on the TfL rail line.

Passengers tweeted how they were stuck on trains for as long as half an hour with the alarm activated around 8.30am.

It also led to big queues developing outside stations as trains were left stationary.
