COMMUTERS faced a travel nightmare this morning as Central Line services were thrown into disarray.
A faulty track at St Paul's station early this morning hit rush-hour trains across the line.
People travelling into central London from stations on the Epping branch of the line - including Snaresbrook, South Woodford and Woodford - were diverted via Hainault, where they faced waits of up to 15 minutes to board crowded trains.
Services from those stations, and from Hainault, Fairlop, Barkingside, Newbury Park, Gants Hill, Redbridge and Wanstead, are now running but passengers are warned to allow extra time for their journeys.
