On Sunday morning a number of brave volunteers took part in a sponsored run as part of Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Games to raise money for charity.
Those taking part in the run through Valentines Park, Ilford, could run distances of one, three or six miles, and each had spent weeks collecting sponsorships to make sure they raised as much money as possible.
Half the money the brave runners raised will be spent by charities based in the UK, with the other half helping to make a difference in the poorest communities around the world.
