An accident involving a car and a woman in Eastern Avenue, Gants Hill has led to one lane being closed.
Two ambulance crews and a single responder attended the scene where a 24-year-old woman was suffering from leg and neck injuries.
She was treated at the scene before being taken to Queen’s Hospital in Rom Valley Way as a precaution.
There is queuing traffic westbound at Gants Hill roundabout due to the incident which took place at about 6pm.
