Redbridge Tube station has reopened after a woman was killed by a Central Line train earlier today.
The station closed after the incident shortly after 1.45pm but trains are now running normally with some delays.
Paramedics were called but pronounced the woman dead at the scene. Police are trying to establish the identity of the woman to inform her family of her death.
A British Transport Police spokesman said the incident was being treated as “non-suspicious”.
