There was heavy traffic on the A12 after a collision closed one lane at Redbridge Roundabout this morning (October, 8).

One lane of the roundabout’s slip road onto the A406 was blocked as a result of the collision, which happened at around 10.45am.

Traffic is slowing on the approach with queues along the A12 back towards Beehive Lane and A406 slowing approaching the roundabout.

A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman confirmed the incident was damage only and that officers were not called to the scene.

The road was cleared of debris within an hour and there are no reports of any injuries.
