A society that prides itself on “giving something back” to the community is inviting more members to join.
The Rotary Club of Redbridge brings people of all ages and backgrounds together to raise money for charitable causes.
President Colin Jeffries said: “For those who enjoy helping others, joining Rotary gives the opportunity to do something really worthwhile.
“The enormous sense of achievement experienced in helping not only in the local community but communities around the world is matched only by the enjoyment of actually doing it.”
The club meets every Tuesday at Luigi’s Restaurant, Beehive Lane, Gants Hill, from 7pm.
Guest speakers often feature at the group’s meetings, where members have a meal and plan activities, campaigns and social events.
