Redbridge residents can now access their GP practice online and book appointments from their phone, tablet or computer.

GP online is a easy and secure way to order repeat prescriptions and view parts of your medical records, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results.

GP and chair of Redbridge CCG, Dr Anil Mehta, said: “Just as we manage other aspects of our lives online, we can now oversee our health in the same way.

“GP online services is flexible and makes booking an appointment or ordering a repeat prescription convenient, especially for those who lead busy lives.”

To register for GP online services, you need to take photo ID and proof of address to your practice and they can sign you up.

You will then receive a unique username and password and can start using the online services straight away.

The services available depends on the online system your GP practice uses.
