Jas Athwal, the leader of the Redbridge Labour group, has announced his party’s cabinet.
In a statement, Cllr Athwal said he was “sure” the cabinet, consisting of nine councillors, would succeed.
He said: “We have difficult decisions and testing times ahead but I am sure this Labour group will deliver the pledges we have made and restore trust in elected members.
“This team is determined to make sure Labour values into practice to deliver the best outcomes for the people of Redbridge.”
The Labour cabinet: Jas Athwal - leader, Wes Streeting (Labour’s deputy leader) - health and wellbeing, Neil Zammett - finance and resources, Elaine Norman - children and young people, Dev Sharma - adult care and older people, Muhammed Javed - housing, Ross Hatfull - community safety and enforcement, Baldesh Nijjar - environment, Helen Coomb - planning and regeneration.
