Members of the Muslim, Jewish and Christian communities will be touring Jerusalem at the end of October.

The visit will take place from October 26 to November 2 and will include visits to Bethlehem, Church of the Holy Sepulchre and of the Sea of Galilee.

The tour will also visit the Dead Sea, Bethlehem, Hebron and Nazareth.

The group, which includes many members of the Redbridge Disabled Muslim Women’s Welfare Association, will be waved off by the Mayor of Redbridge, Cllr Gurdial Bhamra.

The trip, which is organised by the East London Three Faiths Forum, is a “calendar highlight”, said Rabbi David Hulbert, of Bet Tikvah Synagogue.

He said: “We will be visiting church, mosques and synagogues on the trip.

“It’s a brilliant trip.”
