A charity is urgently looking for people to join their new volunteer team to raise awareness of hearing loss and tinnitus.
Action on Hearing Loss in Redbridge is looking for people to hold information stands or talks in community groups, social clubs and places of worship to encourage residents to get their hearing checked.
Regional volunteer manager Lucy Johnson said: “We’re looking for enthusiastic people in Redbridge to come forward and use their skills and talent to raise awareness about the cause.
“It’s a chance for the volunteers to make a positive impact in the everyday lives of people who are deaf or hard of hearing.”
