A Redbridge artist is making handmade poppies to raise money for the Royal British Legion.

Eva Jaber, of Gants Hill, makes unique gifts and runs craft workshops across the borough and decided to put her crafts to a good cause for the poppy appeal.

She gave two of her creations to the mayor of Redbridge, Cllr Felicity Banks, and deputy mayor Cllr Tania Solomon.

The satin poppies with black crystal centres are being sold ahead of Remembrance Day next month.

Poppies can be purchased by contacting Eva on 07961815496 or emailing eva@evasgiftsandworkshops.co.uk.
